Congrats to Tyler Johnson, Jared Cowen, Brenden Kichton and James Reid for receiving recognition from the WHL for their outstanding play this season! Also, Nachbaur got named Western Conference nominee for coach of the year (an award I think he's gonna win).
I'll be honest I was surprised that Reid got the first team spot in goal and was the Western Conference's nominee for goalie of the year. I thought for sure Pickard had those wrapped up. Nice to see him get some recognition though here in his last season in Spokane. He's been very solid during his three year tenure.
