Kelowna Rockets forward Shane McColgan has been drafted by the New York Rangers in the NHL‘s 2011 Entry Draft.
The speedy winger who led the Rockets in scoring last season, was drafted in the 5th round, 134th overall.
McColgan is expected to return to play for Kelowna for at least one more season. He was the only Rocket drafted on the weekend.
