Warriors name Mike Stothers new coach

The Moose Jaw Warriors have named Ontario product Mike Stothers their new head coach. Stothers comes to Moose Jaw with OHL, AHL and NHL experience. The club also announced they've re-signed assistant coach Mike Vandenburghe to a multi-year club, and will not be renewing the contract of ass't coach Trevor Weisgerber

a great signing by the Warriors forsure the guy brings nothing but creditbility to the franchise.

When was the last time the Warriors had a Head Coach with this type of creditbility to his name? Usually the Warriors get coaches & then they move on to bigger & better things, a nice spin around for the Warriors & there fans forsure.

The Warriors will be 1 of the better teams in the league this season, but alot of that depends on if Howden is returned by the Panthers. Which i wouldnt say is a forsure thing with the Panthers taking a youth movement im sure all there 1st & 2nd rounds picks from last season have a legit chance of making the team.

Look for the Warriors to land a goalie here in the next 5 weeks, most likely another 20yr old goalie like Heemskerk last year. By far the Warriors weakest position heading into training camp at the end of august.
