Topping traded to Americans

The Royals have traded 18 year old defenseman Mitch Topping to the Americans for 16 year old forward prospect Justin Spagrud and a second round pick. The Royals hsd 7 defensemen on there roster that were 18 years of age or older and I would think they are freeing up some room for young defense prospects Pilton and Kanzig who are 16 years old. Toppings offense will be missed and looks like Rintoul and Pauls will be PP defensemen. Good luck in Tri Cities Mitch you are going to help an already good team !!! Thoughts !! :cool:
