how do i make a picture smaller

I have a picture i want to use for my avatar but Im not so computer efficient if ya know what i mean. Can any one help me out?

ok Ive made it smaller now and tried to upload it from my pictures but it sais not valid jpg or gpg or some thing, any help?

When you save it does it turn into a .jpg file? Thats what it wants, there is an option when you save to put it in jpeg .jpg format.

That is a good picture Fightstrap, but I like the picture of Dawes head flattened against the glass by Weber with a clean hit. :laugh:

actually Jovo I much prefer the one of Dawes giving Ofukany an early after game dinner, Id say he skipped that one as he had his just desserts too! lol

Part of me thinks this picture was just Weber calculating how many strokes Dawes has shaved of his golf game since we ended his season!
