Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are proud to launch their new website at www.victoriaroyals.com, with lift-off scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
Since the return of the WHL was announced on April 20th, the franchise has been using a temporary site on the web. The switch will now occur and will see Victoria join the rest of the WHL by using a website developed and hosted by MRX.

A prominent news rotator will deliver the latest information and news releases on the team. All available Royals' ticket packages will also be featured on the site, as well as details on fundraising opportunities and suite rental information to ensure that no one misses out on exciting WHL action this season.

Fans are invited to connect with the team via Facebook, Twitter and RSS news feed for up-to-date information, and browse video highlights of Royals' game action as well as photo galleries featuring the players in action both on-and-off the ice.

Visitors will also be able to browse detailed player profiles featuring stats and headshots, download the Royals' 2011-12 regular season schedule and stay up to date on all upcoming Royals' community initiatives and appearances.

As well, visitors will find a Marty Appearance Request form, where they can submit their application to have Victoria Royals' mascot Marty the Marmot attend their special event.

Fans can look forward to The Royals' online team store that will be available in the near future.

Fans have one last chance to see the Victoria Royals in preseason action tomorrow night when the Kelowna Rockets visit Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Admission to the game is $5, with partial proceeds going towards Tour De Rock and KidSport. In conjunction with broadcast partners The Zone @91.3 and 100.3 The Q, the Royals will be selling hot dogs, popcorn and pop for only $1.00! Vouchers for dollar dogs, popcorn and pop will be available for download and print from www.thezone.fm and www.theq.fm.
