The Hitmen's last visit to Regina was a 3-1W where the Pats handed them a 3-0 lead in the 1st & then struggled to find the back of the net against Chris Drieger (who is having a solid season this year in CGY) it wasnt that CGY outplayed the Pats in the 2nd & 3rd cuz they did not u just cant give teams a 3-0 head start & expect to come back & win (especially giving up a SH goal in the game too)
Does Jordan Weal this weekend pass Wichenshier for 7th all-time on the Pats assist leaders? he only needs 3 & is 7pts away from the magical 300 career pts which would put him 14th all-time in Pats scoring..... he has 3 home games in a row to do both of these before the Pats head out on the road for 6 straight, being a huge Weal supporter id love to see him get both of these huge milestones before we head on the road.
Do the Pat fans finally get to see Adam Beukeboom in any of these next 3 games? Two of the games are against very good hockey clubs in MH & MJ but that hasnt stopped Conachar from playing Beukeboom in the past as all 3 of his starts have been on the road & against very good hockey clubs.
With the snow expected to fall tonite in Regina will really make it finally feel like hockey season is here :) 5-10cm of snow expected into the morning tomorrow (see if the weatherman is right)

Tough loss on the Pats tonite especially for how the game winning goal happened on a harmless dump in & Hewitt goes out to stop it with his stick & the puck hits the heel of his blade & redirects right into the empty net.
As much as that play was the deteriming factor the game was lost in the 2nd period where the Pats came out flat & let the Hitmen back into the game. Glover made some great saves tonite as well especially early in the game when the Pats outshot the Hitmen in the 1st 15-6 (at 1 point it was 12-1)

Hewitt will rebound....
Way to much icetime for some guys and not enough for otheres...
Coach is not consistent!! We are strong as a team, why is it turning into a one man show again??

I'm not so sure I agree with Conacher giving "too" much ice time to particular players, but I am starting to question these potential line combinations.
This is what I would like to see:
L C R
Klimchuk Weal Scheidl
Rodewald Volek Marantz
D.Stevenson C.Stephenson Ouelette
Martell Olstad Hunt
Extra:Moser
Reasoning: Sending Chandler Stephenson down to the third line should in theory pit him against softer defensive assignments and allow him to flourish while playing alongside two power forward types in Ouellette and Stevenson who can work well in the corners. As far as Weal, pairing him along with Klimchuk is something I have long wanted to see and think that could be an absolute dynamic duo.

Why send Chandler down? Why fix something what is actually working, since they moved him up he finally gets going!!
If we are looking for power forward types, Stevenson looks great with Klimchuk! Also they should finally get Moser gone, he has more to offer then being the odd man out.

Klimchuk scores in OT and the Pats are in first place again what a crazy division
