Yep our radio announcer said the slash was on benson but sutter stepped in only to have the refs fuse the situation maybe that was why the Blade players raised there sticks to the crowd

Some of the Blades that were coming off the bench to celebrate were beaking off at Elson, he said something back to them and 2 or 3 of them jumped him. Dumba went crazy and slashed Benson, and tried to get at Sutter who was dragged off by the linesman and replaced momentarily by McEvoy and Fafard, before Petrovic dragged Dumba off the ice.

Dumba had a very sub-par game by his standards, with about 8 really bad giveaways on the night, so he was probably pretty frustrated as it was.
