It's a tough break, but it sounds like Bartosak is done for the year. For a guy that started the year so strong and was almost single handedly winning games for the Rebels, this is a tough blow to the team. Coupled with the suspensions and injuries to some key players it's going to be a long second half of the season. :(

Heard this is something he did to himself. Frustrated after the game in Edmonton. Not an injury that happened during the game? Really sad if that is true.

You must have him mixed up with someone else. He hurt his shoulder during a goalmouth pile-up last week in Swift Current. Red Deer hasn't played Edmonton in weeks.

Really tough for Red Deer. Losing a goalie of that calibre would do a lot of damage to any team.

Good for the Rebels on the win tonight. As a Hurricanes fan we know what you have been going through. We haven't had more than one healthy scratch in an evening yet this season and that only happened for two games. Every other game has been injured or sick vets that we desperately needed. We've had to call up 15 yr olds, have forward play ddefence and defencemen play forward. Good to see the team finished off Kootenay tonight and hopefully they are on their way back. It looks like Dubnyk may be a good addition for you.
