Solid pick up by MJ, with Edmundson, Mcilrath (SP) now Henry thats a solid blueline

This post wasn't here when I commented on the Braes thread....another 20yr old....what does that do for the OA situation in MJ?

They are deep everywhere. They have to be considered at least a co-favourite in the east with Edmonton.

really?

Good Shut down core mixed with a team that plays well all around the ice. Its a very good core. Defense is suppose to keep the puck out. Henry can do that

Isn't Henry a Center?

This team though, lacks experience. I still think Edmonton has the horses to go to the cup.

Agreed, but what does edmonton have for experience when it comes to play offs??

If you want to talk about experience, if Brandon adds a shut down dman their experience will come through.

In terms of inexperience vs inexperience, I think Edmonton has the horses, over say a team like Moose Jaw. The Warriors look really good, but does a Siemens hold up under a completely different ballgame?

Seimens is a good quality tender... this has to be the best second half to a season in a long time in this league. The east division is stacked and imo Brandon or MJ are coming out if it. I don't think Edmonton is quite ready. They remind me of the BWK the year before we hosted Memcup

Holy crap MJ has hardly any draft picks for the bantam draft this year very bare

I think next year's draft is pretty thin for them as well. Should be interesting in the East for the next couple of years.

Mj has only 2 picks left for the first 5 rounds they will need to atleast get 1 back when they trade brett lyon

They got to do something for the future in the next year or so. Maybe you can get lucky and sell the rest of your farm for Rielly

they are fine, don't need allot of picks this year, they have very solid prospects on the team now and more coming in the likes of warkentine and point etc. plus you have solid nucleus you can trade for players of the 97 age group and be fine, they had to do something this year as they were very close. it is a good gamble knowing the cupboard is pretty good on prospects. one of the best lists out there.
