Prince Albert SK – The Raiders have recalled 15-year-old forward Tim Vanstone, who will make his first appearance in a Raider uniform tomorrow in Swift Current as the Raiders take on the Broncos.
Vanstone, who was born in Prince Albert, is currently playing for the Swift Current Legionnaires of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League. In 38 games during the regular season, he notched 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points along with 72 penalty minutes.
The Raiders 3rd round selection, 52nd overall, in the 2011 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft recorded 27 goals and 32 assists for 59 points in 22 games played for the Swift Current Raiders last season in Saskatchewan Bantam AA.
The 5’11”, 175 pound centre joined the Raiders on Monday, and will return to the Legionnaires following Wednesday’s game, in order to prepare for the first round of SMAAHL playoffs against the Prince Albert Mintos.
