Duncan Siemens to play Wednesday

Some much needed help coming to the Blades on Wednesday with the return of their captain and #1 defenseman Duncan Siemens. It is amazing how much Siemens means to the Blades in far more ways that just putting up some points. This should make a big difference to the overall defense and allow Thrower and Dietz to play their style of game a bit more.

Good to have Duncan back for Tomorrow it will take some minutes away from Thrower and Deitz and keep them fresh for later in the game looks like Cox will be back on Friday as well and Pufahl back next week so key to be healthy before the playoffs start

Well, at least we got Duncan back, Cox should be ready next week sometime and Pufahl is skating next week sometime...... at least we are winning for once, and Brandon is beating Regina now 3-1

Maybe it's just a precaution, but was nice to see us get the two points and Marakov get a shutout, Burns was caught out of position, but I think imo, Mcneil should be suspended for his hit on Thrower..........

I was sitting right near where the nit happened last night. At first, I thought it was a broken arm the way he was holding it. However, he was just holding it up and word is that it may be a shoulder separation which usually is a 2 month injury, thus ending Thrower's season.

As for Burns....he got hit in the first period very hard by Yaworski and looked a bit clouded after that. Then he was hit again hard in the 3rd period on what I would call yet another head shot check. I'm no doctor but it wouldn't surprise me if he is out with a concussion.

Time will tell how long and what the exact nature of the injuries are. But as of now they are both called UPPER BODY INJURIES!
