The rumours of a 68 game regular schedule for 2012-13 are apparantly false. The majority of WHL governors have no appetite for a shortened schedule, or any changes to the current fighting rules. It will be interesting if the CHL and Hockey Canada try to impose new fighting restrictions for next season. The OHL is planning on implimenting new anti-fighting measures for 2012-13. The Q is on the fence about the proposed new rules.

I can see why the small market teams dont want a 68 game schedule, teams like PA, SC, KOO, MJ really need those extra 2 home games for money, the extra 2 road games are not really a big deal as they are just quick divisional trips there & back home after the game.

Ya well when retard Branch runs the OHL this is fully expected, im so glad Branch is not the WHL commish as im sure my view on the league would change alot.
