Wow game #68 already hard to imagine the regular season will be done by next weekend already. Game #68 should be a doozy of a game, with how close the games have been this year between the 2 teams (minus the last 1 when the pats won 8-2)

Fully expect Hewitt to be playing tonite, tonite would be the perfect game for him to bounce back with a solid effort. Tonite the Pats can finally clinch a playiff spot with a win (or a Rebels loss, but let's clinch by going in the front door). I also expect Davidson to redeem himself after a couple mistakes that costed us against the WKs on wednesday nite. He has been consistantly our best Dman all season long I fully expect that to continue for the rest of the year as well.

Beukeboom played well in his last 2 starts (& 2 relief appearences in the last 4 games) he can push Hewitt down the stretch & force him to play better (or at least that the plan).

We need to keep our 1point lead on the WKs & with them & the Blades having a home & home series this weekend it makes our home & home that much more important to us. The Warriors are pretty much done for there chance at 1st but need to stay infront of the Tigers in points for the 2nd round (& maybe beyond) home ice advantage is very key for the Warriors with the huge differences in there home & away records. With that said tonite game in regina the pats must win as it doesn't get any easier in MJ.

Go Pats!

The pats must enjoy playing defense all game. No other way to discribe how the 1st 2 periods have gone. No push back at all. We will lose this game in the 3rd as the whole team is hanging Hewitt out to dry.

You should always post your mid game negativity! Maybe the Pats go in to the dressing room at intermission and right away see if you've posted what they're doing wrong! haha...but honestly, the first two periods, :clap:to Hewitt. Can;t wait till tomorrow night!

Oh...and it's nice to see x Regina Pats in the standings! (not yet technically, but it will!)

Oh man im glad i was wrong after my 2nd period recap, we were playing like crap & to be fully honest did no deserve to be tied 3-3.... 3 2nd period posts by the Warriors if they score even 2 of those this game is out of hand & we are taking 1 on the chin like we gave the Warriors 1 the last meeting.

Kudos for Bidlevskii for dropping the mits against McIlrath hands down tho McIlrath got the decision in the tilt, not saying it was a total beat down but the clear winner was McIlrath.

The other fight between Jobke & i think it was Braes was a draw but both spirited fights. Right after the 1st shift when that scrum happened infront of the Pats net McIlrath wanted to fight Underwood from there on out. I think Underwood could of gave a better scrap then Bidlevskii did just due to the fact that Underwood has a longer reach then Bidlevskii, would of been the same result im sure as very few guys are even in the same league in the fighting department as McIlrath is.

Hewitt won this game for the Pats he always seems to respond well after sitting for 2 games, I am almost favouring sitting Hewitt on Wednesday again against the Raiders & give Beukeboom another start so he is ready again for the season finale home & home against the WKs.

Good job on the Pats for walking into he playoffs thru the front door tonite instead of having to watch the scoreboard & see if the Rebels lose (which they r trailing 3-2 after the 2nd anyways) also what the heck congrats to the Blades as well for clinching tonite with a win over the WKs.... please Blades another win over the WKs on saturday nite too, even if it means the Pats lose in MJ tomorrow since the Warriors are very dominate at home anyways.

Was nice to enjoy the game while sitting with mjw22 tonite, hard to fully enjoy the 3rd period goals tho when ur friends with a Warrior fan without rubbing it too much tho, if i didnt know him then too freaken bad take the rubbing it in lol guess im just too nice that way.

Congrats to Klimchuk on scoring his 4th game winning goal (or maybe 5th not sure if the WHL site is updated yet) not bad for a 16yr to have that many big goals for his team, plus if my memory serves me right he has 3 game tying goals this year as well (2 forsure)

i seen that was at a show at the casino regina tonite with the wife & my dad & i was checking my pats app during the show the whole nite

even tho a OT loss for the pats playing Beukeboom in MJ (i think his 2nd career start there if im not mistaken) a big point for the pats as we leaped the Blades for 6th & KOO currently losing 3-2 late in the 3rd so i think we r tied for 5th now with the Ice

also does anyone know why Weal & Schiedl were sat down for tonites game?

was it due to the jesture that McIlrath did at the end of the game with his hand like he is cutting a guys throat?

haha when ur season rests souly on the shoulders of Weal & Schiedl for ur offense yes just maybe lol..... Weal has been taking alot of cheap shots in the past 3 weeks to begin with & im sure everyone knows what the kind of player Beach is he wouldnt think twice about doing something stupid to a much smaller skilled player then him, its not like if Beach got suspended for the rest of the season & playoffs that it would be a big loss for the Warriors... i think the Warriors would be better off without him anyways.

Eberle has always gone hard at Weal every game as well. He runs around like an idiot a lot just looking to run someone.

Mccilrath is one thing, but neither of the terms 'tough guy' or 'envy' apply to tanner eberle.

the word punk does though.
