Nope, not really surprised either. I would even take Thrower over Siemens.

i agree...siemens has a lot to prove this year, and i think he can... if he plays his game, simple,tough hockey

Congrats to Thrower and Sutter Thrower picked by the Habs and joins Darren Dietz there as his D pairing and Sutter drafted by the Jets both Canadian teams pretty glad for them

All that is left is Makarov i expect to be taken and Nicholls is up in the air

Well it looks like we wont lose Makarov or Nicholls during training camp this year unless they get a tryout somewhere surprised nobody took a shot on Makarov oh well

surprised nobody took a shot on Makarov oh wellI think that if you weren't a Scandinavian or American goaltender this draft, you just weren't getting drafted.

Makarov should get an invite to a NHL camp so I wouldn't expect him around during the pre-season.

Nicholls, not surprised he was passed over. Good player but he'll have to be better if he wants to make the pro's.

I agree and i wasn't surprised Nicholls wasn't picked he had a below average second half last season his injury must have effected him more than people think
