good start to the season down 3-0 in the first and come back to win on a penalty shot in ot. the new staged fight rule is brutal. Lowry the big yellow chicken grabs Fioretti by the head and shoves him to the ice before the pucks dropped so Edmundson grabs him and he turtles . we get 5 and a game Lowry nothing. Well an embarrassing beat down at center ice is still good.I see hamm can still skate around with his head up his ass all night Vetter was just as bad . brutal calls and non calls both ways. Bronco d man Scarlett was taken off on a stretcher in the 3rd after a stupid check from behind by Kirsch. Haven't heard his condition hope he is ok. Kirsch will be sitting for awhile for that one. This SC - MJ is turning into a decent rivalry. :groovy:

I cant really complain about the refs... the first period wasnt that well officiated and when fioretti was maulled by lowry you cant blame the refs for that play. edmundson did the right thing and lowry looked stupid but the refs made the right call according to the rule book. what edmundson did should not have resulted in a game misconduct because it was only 8 mins into the season and lowry thought he could bully the smaller guys. after kicking edmundson out lowry took 2 more dumb penalties and he knew nobody would fight him because of that dumb rule. Point impressed... he wasnt too flashy but when the kid goes in the corner he gets the puck out from guys way bigger than him and hes got a high hockey iq.

they will have to fix the way this rule is called or goofs like lowry will suck players into 5 and a game. maybe if you instigate it you should go as well. lowry should have gotten 5 as well
