Giants and subway series tix on diff site now?

I am a season ticket holder. I went onto ticketmaster to find one ticket for tomorrow night. It switches me to a partner site "ticketleader"?

Partner site means still owned by the evil ticketmaster?

Weird because I checked a few weeks ago for these tickets and they were available on the main ticketmaster site.

maybe it's positive and the Giants are finally shedding themselves of the ticketmaster yoke - however, I have never heard of ticketleader though so it might be one of those bait and switch methods making you think you are dealing with an upstart when they are actually a part of the behemoth.

it appears as if they are a new animal that are not ticketmaster - being able to choose your seat is something that I have not seen with ticketmaster, then again I tend to not buy from ticketmaster and try to buy direct at the show or arena - cheapest tix seem to be 26 something in the ends, and 33 something a bit closer to the corner and toward centre-ice

my STs would have been in the 33 something bracket so I appreciate my seats being part of our season's ticket package

Giants had announced they dropped Ticketmaster at the beginning of the season. There is a big aporn over the ticket booths at the Coliseum which says TicketLeader. The two are not connected.

It was announced at the end of last season.
With an email going out a couple weeks back that we can now email our tix to friends to use when we can't, which makes it easier for last minute, across town give aways.
