As per @stevezipay, Shane McColgan was not offered a contract by the New York Rangers. He will be eligible for the 2013 NHL Draft.


Hopefully the Blades can get something decent for him.

That can be good news for the Blades as long as nobody signs him or drafts him. If he is back in the league he could be 1 of the best 20yr olds this year.
