This 2nd year of the rebuild is going backwards .Six pts off last years pace last year 8-11-3-3 65-83 vs 7-14-2-2 61-89 no improvement .All those 1 goal losses last year that ppl thought would be wins this year aren't happening. We have a group of forwards who either don't have the talent or aren't using it.Should they lose the last 2 on this road trip changes need to come. We need to put these 17-18 in the top 3 lines and see who performs and bring in some younger guys to replace the one who don't. We cant go into next year hoping Gore White Uhrich McCarthy Dupperault and Potomak when hes back somehow learn to score. Sawchenko should be getting more ice as well. Brown Fioretti need to be moved for some assets for next year. The players from the 2010 draft are killing this team right now no goal production at all.

What's killing this team right now is leadership and management. Some of the decisions being made are real head-scratchers.

The Fiddler /Benoit choices are brutal no doubt. The 2010 and 2011 draft group arent producing . 2/3 of our forward group couldnt score on a triple A midget goalie. No goals no wins pretty damn simple worst offence in the league.Sad thing is unless we move picks and Brown Fioretti Forsberg theres not much you can do . :burningmad:

Moose Jaw will never have a championship team because your organization doesn't know what it takes to win. Should never had let Dave Hunchak go. He knew what was best for your club. Unfortunately for your city, it's just another season of hum drum hockey, as that's all that comes out of your rink. No offense. Just sayin.

Yee Haw if not for one real fluky goal it wouldnt have gotten to ot. We also chased your starter to the bench. Outplayed your team 2 of 3 periods .:groovy:

Your 2010 draft is not killing you. You had four picks in the first 2 rounds and traded a first rounder to Regina for Rodewald (9g 8a) and a conditional pick. You traded a second rounder to Red Deer for a conditional pick. White - one of your 1st rounders is producing (8g 6a). You have White and Rodewald producing plus you have two conditional picks to come as a result of the trades. The only one not producing is Potomak (1g 1a).
These guys are 18 years old. You constantly say you have the youngest team in the league. Don't you think that the lack of scoring is caused by youth and not because your 18 year olds are not producing.

The 18yr old players are a very key age group to any junior team, a solid group is usually the difference between a bad team & a quality team. The 19 & 20yr olds are the backbone of every team out there, the 18yr olds are suppose to be the group to see if they are ready for the next step, if there not ready its normally going to be a very long season.

No team out there leans on the 16 & 17yr old group as they know there is growing pains with them still. Look at the Hitmn's Virtanen for instance, he still struggles with consistancy on a regular basis, if its a game where he is on the Hitmen win more times then not as its just 1 more guy the opposition has to cover. Same can be said with Point & a select few others around the league. The problem is when your leaning on a 17yr old to produce on a regular basis (like how MJ is with Point) you run into problems cause no 17yr old should be leaned on to determine a win or loss.

If you ask me the Warriors are doing it wrong, they don't have the right mixture of older guys on forward & defense to develop these kids properly. A lot of the young Warrior players are setup for failure just cause they are playing minutes they are not yet ready for. That's just my opinion from the outside looking in, I think its more of a confidence thing then anything......
