Okay, so haven't posted in a while, so I might as well do it........, as we know Lorne has done a lot of wheeling and dealing as our rebuild continue, here is the list thus far:

9/17/13- Saskatoon 5th Rnd '14 for Troy Trombley

9/26/13- Saskatoon 15th round cond. for Austin Calladine (has been released)

Chase Clayton- Not sure what we got for him, could someone clarify?

12/28/13- Collin Valcourt and Ryan Coghlan for Dylan Busenius, 2nd Rnd '14,
5th Rnd '14

1/01/14- Nathan Burns and 7th rounder 2014 for Connor Sanvido, Wyatt Sloboshan, 2nd Rnd '14, 3rd Rnd '15 cond.

1/08/14- Graeme Craig, 7th Rnd '14, 5th Rnd '16 for MacKenzie Johnston, Tyler Dea, 3rd Rnd '15, 5th Rnd '15

1/08/14- Matt Revel, 3rd Rnd '16, 2nd Rnd '14 cond for Jordan Thomson, Mitch Lipon, 1st Rnd '15

If I have missed anyone, please feel free to add. Also around Blades central, who do we have left to trade that would garner some attention?

So far we have acquired 8 players and 7 picks, I'm to assume we aren't done, so stay tuned!!!!!!!

Sounds like Sloboshan and Thompson are two guys Lorne really wanted to get. Making the effort to get both to come play for the Blades.

The team gets younger, but they needed to restock the picks and prospects.

if all of thomson, mappin, and sloboshan report, and all play up to their potential it will help a lot to improve the team, and the team will be better a little faster.

now the trick is getting them to report, and play up to their potential.

he also adds a first round pick. good job.

Well looks like Thomson isn't coming to the Blades at the present time. Going to play in the MJHL with Dauphin by the looks of it...

Blades recently acquired blueliner Jordan Thomson isn't reporting to Saskatoon. He's joining the MJHL's Dauphin King.


Hopefully he'll report at training camp next fall. Though I wonder what happens with the 2nd round conditional pick in 2014. If he reports after maybe the Blades would have to give a pick in 2015? Interesting to see how that works.

Well, I'm a little late commenting, but I guess that was a nice 10-6 drubbing we got.............., sucks Sherbak is out day to day with a upper body injury. It looked like Mackenzie Johnston pulled a John Torts last night as well......., hears to hoping for a better effort on Friday.......:(
