They were commenting on the lack of play off success by SK teams.Heres a breakdown since 2003 Ive listed play off gp and wins round eliminated consecutive yrs of missing playoffs and as an extra number of players drafted and those who played in the NHL at some point. Last one not sure it 100 % accurate lol Ive included Brandon only because they play in our div.

MJ GP 70 w 35 1st 4 2nd 2 CF 1 WHL final 1 Con MP 1 2yrs drafted 21 NHL 13
Sas GP 49 w 19 1st 5 2nd 3 CF 0 WHL final 0 Con MP 1 2yrs drafted 25 NHL 6
SC GP 43 w 13 1st 8 2nd 1 CF 0 WHL final 0 Con MP 1 2yrs drafted 21 NHL 5
PA GP 42 w 16 1st 4 2nd 0 CF 1 WHL final 0 Con MP 1 3 yrs drafted 15 NHL 2
Reg GP 35 w 9 1st 4 2nd 1 CF 0 WHL final 0 Con MP 1 3yrs drafted 15 NHL 3

BRN GP 104 w 68 1st 3 2nd 3 CF 2 WHL final 1 Con MP 0 drafted 17 NHL 7

So Warrior fans over the past 10 years MJ's been the most successful Sask team. The last time we missed the playoffs more than 2 consecutive years was 93/94 . Also shows if you want a shot at the pros MJ's the place to go :) Trav made an interesting point its been 21 seasons since a sask team has won the WHL . Wonder why talent coaching ?

The played in the NHL column looks incorrect. Wonder if it has a min # of games attached? And which WHL teams would you credit guys like Hamonic/Schenn too?
I'd say Hamonic should be MJ, and Schenn Bdn, based on which team were they with when they were drafted

no min GP looked at the drafted list and maybe missed a player who played a game or 2 . credited players in the NHL to the Dub team they were on when drafted. so schenn to Brn yes its updated now lol slow day at the office

The pats have a way more players then 2 that have played more than 1 regular season game in the nhl from 2003-2014. I'll just name a few for you : Petr Kalus, Josh Harding, Jordan Eberle, Colten Teubert.

Edit by nivek_wahs: Pyett didn't play in the NHL.

In the post I used drafted players 03 to present Harding was drafted in 02 Pyett never played a minute in the nhl Kalus was a 5th round in 05 by Boston but isnt listed as being drafted in the WHL guide . so Pats gain 1

Drafted since 2003 I make it 9 BWK have played in the NHL
Stone, Fehr, Reaves, Aulie, Calvert, Robak, Schenn, Glennie and Stone.
I suppose you could add Pulock last pre season if you wanted, but I'm sticking with regular season games
Ferland will add to that total next season, would be there now in calgary's youth movement if he wasn't hurt. One guy I'd like to see make it is Andrew Clark, always the underdog.
I must be missing some guys? I don't count Hamonic and Klinghammer (sp) as Bdn guys
Who are the 13 MJ players?

I used the whl guide team they were on when drafted and hockey db as a reference. They didn't have calvert or glennie as playing any nhl games. May not be right up to date.Warriors are morgan mcilrath howden hamonic mccardle jones boyd rome brouwer brodziak paetsch marajmaki sorry 12 lol

That's nice, but you should have actually stated that you were going by the 03-04 season; I thought you meant 02-03. Not sure what all this means anyways, seeing as this only indicates that within a 10-year span, Moose Jaw was marginally better than someone at something...something irrelevant.

Lol just showing the sask teams play off performance it wasnt about drafted players.

Oh no a troll lol Trav just for something to do a slow day at work. I believe 45 former Warriors have made the NHl. Only used players who played only for Warriors were drafted by the nhl as Warriors or played the bulk of their career as a warrior. Hamonic & Vopat are Warriors Wyshart & Elerbe arent
