Good to see Sherbak drafted in the 1st round to Montreal. Montreal seems to like scouting the Blades as he oins Thrower and Dietz as Blades that were drafted by Montreal. He's a heck of a player.

Nogier drafted was a bit of a surprise, seeing how he missed most of the season. He was drafted by Winnipeg.

Why would Nogier be a surprise? I believe he had a pretty good ranking right before he got hurt and was invited to the prospects game. With his size and skill, plus his stats before he got hurt everyone had a pretty good idea of what he could do. What the injury did was probably drop him down a round or two. Winnipeg made a great pick with this one. Nelson is going to be a very good shut down defenceman in the NHL.
