According to the WHL weekly update. No surprise really. It does make the trade seem a bit pointless on paper but when you look at it, it won't hurt the team to have Herringer playing Jr. A and close by in case they need to bring him up. Going to assume the conditional pick was low enough for them to keep him on their protected list.
So the Blades have five goaltenders now in the system that will hopefully keep the goaltending position set for the next five years at least, Amundrad, Martin, Herringer, Luding and Grzybowski.
Now Woods can work on the defense and scoring.
