Odd that they didn't do it before they reassigned Brown again..... On the flip side that brings Brown back and we now have a better age group for our backup plus Brown has looked good in the 2 games he appeared in.

Something must be up with him. I'm ambivalent about this move. If a younger Brown can do the job then why not. Fuhr has played well and did good in his limited playoff time last season. With the poor tending out West, I'm surprised they couldn't have traded him.

I agree with you there chopper im surprised he couldn't be moved but maybe he just has a terrible attitude I mean he was at 1 time the furture starter in Vancouver but that didn't pan out and now not panning out here in Regina

Im all for Brown being our backup but out of training camp Brown wasn't that great he was hardly noticeable between the pipes as Fuhr by far was the next best guy (who was eligible to play, Hollett was the next best but too young)

I think you will find that there isn't a huge demand in general for 19 year old goaltenders that have played three WHL games in the last season and a half.

Was a huge mistake but Lang was only doing what the Parkers wanted him to and that was a older veteran team

I still see no "TRUTH" yet.

Unless, of coarse, Fuhr got physically cut and is now injured....

It doesn't take a media release for it to be true.

true it doesn't but the Pats always do things like that make it formal... plus Fuhr is still showing up on the team roster.... maybe it was in house discipline for him which wouldn't leak out then

Per Greg Harder Today

Regina has re-called G Tyler Brown, 17, from the Winnipeg Blues to replace Tyler Fuhr, 19, who’s expected to be reassigned to the junior A ranks. Brown filled in last month when Fuhr was away due to “personal business.” Paddock said the Pats want to get younger at the position so they decided to part company with Fuhr. They’re currently trying to find him a place to play

'95 Tyler Fuhr has been acquired

The Bruins have acquired the rights to '95 goaltender Tyler Fuhr from the La Ronge Ice Wolves in exchange for future considerations.

Fuhr (6'2, 180 lbs) comes to the Bruins after a stint with the Regina Pats in the WHL. Last year, Fuhr played 38 games for the Ice Wolves, logging a .903 save percentage and a 3.68 GAA as an 18 year old. Fuhr has also appeared in games with the Spruce Grove Saints of the AJHL and Vancouver Giants of the WHL. He was a 4th round pick in the 2010 WHL Entry Draft.

Interesting to see if Fuhr can lead his new team the Bruins past MacAuley's team the Terriers as it is right now they are both tied for 2nd in the Viterra Division both behind Melville
