FYI "Small Thoughts at Large" has the complete breakdown but here is a summary of WHL prospects and PPL players

Based on these lists, 21 of the 22 WHL teams will have players in the Macs this year. Only Brandon will not. The team-by-team counts:

Calgary: 10
Kootenay, Lethbridge: 7
Kelowna, Prince Albert, Regina, Swift Current: 6
Kamloops, Portland, Prince George, Saskatoon, Tri-City, Vancouver: 5
Victoria: 4
Medicine Hat, Moose Jaw, Red Deer, Seattle: 3
Everett, Spokane: 2

Interesting Brandon has no midget age platers at this tournament. With 6 players there it looks like 2015 camp should be very competitive

Seems rather odd that the WK are the only team without a prospect playing in the Tourney. They do have 7 prospects playing in the Winter Games in PG later in the new year.

Like I said the cupboard isn't bare anymore. We have a system.

Thanks for that kevin... oh ya and happy birthday as I was paying attention to the birthdays last night (unless there is another with the same name as you)

Im actually alittle surprised that Chapman is still listed as I don't see crease time for him in our organization anymore. With Brown and Hollett there just doesn't seem to be enough net. Im assuming we will draft a goalie this year around round 4-6 as a backup role to Hollett in the years to come

Boo Boo have you got a breakdown of all the WHL team prospect at the winter games or have you got a web site for the team rosters or is that roosters?

Here's the Canada Games website http://www.canadagames2015.ca/. The games don't start until February 13th.

The rosters have been announced for the provinces over the last few weeks. Remember it's an under 16 tournament. Look around and I'm sure you'll find them.

Off hand I can think of 3 Pats prospects named to teams...
Hollett in British Columbia
Welke and Gardiner for Saskatchewan

I went to each province's hockey website. There was an article on the Winter Games hockey lineups. The players are all from last year's bantam draft(1999s).

From the previous yrs of macs prospects there's a lot of players that refused to play here or have chosen the us college route. Some of those guys would look good on our roster.

Geez Kevin, you get to double up on the gifts…:) Congrats! Your quite right about teams in the Macs. A lot of teams apply but only so many get chosen. Brandon simply has prospects playing on teams that weren't selected for the Macs is all.

Out of the 27 of our prospects you listed that played in the tourney over the past three years, only five are with the team. Just an interesting side note.
