To me it looks like the Blades and Royals swapped 5th round picks and the Royals gave Skapski to the Blades.:bounce:

another very under sized player for the Blades to use.... that makes 7 forwards 5'10 or smaller

Not a bad move, moving a year ahead in the draft isn't a bad thing and getting a free player pretty much. Skapski getting a good opportunity to play and maybe thats all he needs. Haven't seen him play so can't really comment on him because of that unlike some people who are bashing the trade cuz they think their hockey experts and know more then Bob Woods does lol.

to get a free player isn't a bad thing by any means especially when you lack bodies and may not have the 50 man list deep enough to call up. I wouldn't complain if Paddock pulled off a deal like this but don't want a 5'9 guy though
