Blades acquire Wheaton from the Kelowna Rockets

The Blades have acquired 6'5" 20 year old defenceman Mitch Wheaton from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for a 4th round WHL Bantam Draft pick. Wheaton is a 5th round draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings.
