Tyrel Lucas and Brett O'Malley have joined the Dinos, and Lee Zalasky has joined the Golden Bears.

Calgary Hitmen graduates Tyrel Lucas and Brett O'Malley will join the University of Calgary Dinos for the upcoming CIS hockey season.

Zalasky, who also played for the Hitmen and Moose Jaw Warriors during his four-year WHL career, joins a Golden Bears team already loaded with former WHL players. The defending CIS champs boasted 27 WHL alumni on their roster last season.

Good to see the boys taking full advantage of the scholastic program offered by the WHL and the Hitmen.

One just might have to go see a game when the Dinos host those Golden Bears.
