Judging by looking at the rebels roster, the D seems to be sound in place, however there looks to be about 3-4 forward spots open who will likely occupy those?

Shawn Hunter, Jordan Oystrick, Luke Betts, Paul Levarsky, Travid Briard, Kent Sauter, Ben Farrer, Brady Hogg, Devon Leblanc, Kris Gomez, Kyle Kuisle????

Looking at the roster as it sits I think we will be seeing some young guys moving up.

1. Rome (20) Walker (19) Wick (20)
2. Pieper (18) Vandermeer (19) Sutter (16)
3. Gillies (18) Cline (17) Knackstead (17)
4. Lamoureux (17) Gionfriddo (16) Poulter (16)
Leblanc (17)

1. Hansen (20) 2. Mahalik (18)
3. Kurceba (18) 4. Zetariuk (19)
5. Flatters (18) 6. Lamoureux (18)
7. Frere (17) 8. Kozyra (16)

1. Leslie (19) 2. Reimer (17)

So to answer your question you will see those bottom five players for the forwards plus maybe a older player from the junior A ranks. Also outside chance for Kozyra on defence.

Wick will not occupy an overage spot and a import spot..so he's out.

Sutter has done it before. Ladislav Kouba returned to the team as a 20 year old. THey had to move out Derek Endicott to accomodate him.
THere is no rule against it. Most teams prefer not to take up two spots with one player. However, Wick will be a top scorer for the Rebels. He is much more of a scoring threat than Kouba ever was. THey can't afford to let Wick go. He is more likely to stay in my opinion.

It is my understanding that Roman will returning as Ottawa wants him to play another year under Sutter. The Rebel office is expecting him back.

Wick has already been confirmed to be returning.

he wont be considered a 20 year old will he.. isnt his birthday past the deadline.. Or when is the dead line? is it the same as trade deadline?

It's based solely on year of birth, so I guess that makes the deadline Dec. 31. If he was born in 1985, he's a 20.

the 20's imo should be Wick, Hansen and Rome....bye bye Henituik and Moore

I agree. From talking to some of the Rebels (including Moore actually), I they see that this is how the 20 year olds will be set. I think it's pretty evident to anyone that Henituik and Moore would need some miracle unforseen circumstance for either of them to stay a Rebel.
