Hoping you can give us some updates on who looks good for the Giants as we only get 1 home game this year for the pre-season.

Mostly sending rookies down for the tourny, as 10 regulars are off at NHL camp, but any updates on who looks good who looks bad would be fabulous.

You will be pleasently pleased with how your team looks. In tonight's game, all Vancouver lines dominated play, so it's kind of hard to tell you who looks bad and who looks good after this game. The goalie (Tartaglione, I think) played unbeliveable. The highlight was when he slipped on an edge, fell down and still made a save that was top shelf with his glove while LAYING SIDEWAYS ON THE ICE!!!! He seemed to always be in position and had a nice shutout going until he was screened late in the 3rd during a 5-on-3. He was scored upon a couple of minutes by a nasty slapshot from Bacek that went far side. But Vancouver came out hard, throwing checks left and right and had a good grasp of the new rules. If not for some clanks and a couple of fannings, the score would have been larger. They did not do so well on the penalty shots at the end, being shutout after 3 tries, but really played well during the game. Final was 4-2 with an empty-netter at the end, but it was not that close. Future looks good. I was extremly impressed. I should be at the other 2 games so if anyone imparticular stands out, I will post it.
