So according to the radio Gilbert has a 2nd Degree Seperated Shoulder, and according to sources he has had this condition for 3 weeks. Just came back from the Doctors Today.

They did not say if he was going to miss any time.

I can't imagine he'll be playing until its healed. Now that the cat's out of the bag , opposing players will be targetting that shoulder like a hottie at a singles bar. And if he goes down with a worse injury for a long period of time, the Giants are screwed. :(

This is a huge blow to the team. Brule has been injured for a while and was injured during the Top Prospects Game. Hopefully he won't miss too much time. We really need him out there putting up points this time of year more than ever...

According to Joey Kenward, the play by play guy, the shoulder injury is bogus. He has some bumbs and bruises, plus the Elbow injury that may/may not need surgery at the end of the year that everyone has heard about.

Now I dont know what to think. Guess I'll see when I watch the game tonight on the Loops web feed.
