Regina SK ---- This afternoon the Pats made four roster moves as they trim down to their opening day roster that will hit the ice in Brandon on Friday, September 23rd.

First overall bantam draft choice, Colten Teubert, was reassigned to Surrey Midget AAA. As a fifteen-year-old, Teubert is only eligible to play in five WHL games until his midget team is eliminated from the playoffs in the spring.

The Pats also reassigned nineteen-year-old goaltender Nathan Heinen to the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL, & eighteen-year-old defenceman Isaac Smeltzer to the Estevan Bruins of the SJHL. Sixteen-year-old defenceman, and 2004 Bantam draft choice Matt Delahey has been reassigned to Moose Jaw Midget AAA.

The roster moves leave the Pats with eighteen forwards, nine defencemen & three goaltenders on their current pre-season roster.

Notes:
Twenty-year-old forward Jordan McGillivray will return to practice on Tuesday after missing training camp with a back injury. Twenty-year-old forward Matt Robinson will resume practice this week after recovering from a thigh injury. Nineteen-year-old Kyle Ross will have further tests performed this week to determine when he will be able to begin contact drills in practice.

The Pats roster will be bolstered this week with the return of eighteen-year-old defenceman Derek Reinhart from Columbus on Thursday, and eighteen-year-old forward Petr Kalus from Boston on Saturday. Both players participated in NHL rookie camps this past week.
