The Swift Current Broncos have announced a trade with the Everett Silvertips. Jason Fransoo (19) has been dealt to the Tips in exchange for a 4th Round 2006 Bantam Draft Pick.

"We wish Jason the best of luck in Everett," commented Asst. GM Elden Moberg on Tuesday afternoon.

The trade now brings the Broncos roster down to 25 players with just over a week to go before the start of the season.

Sorry Bob, but he ain't no strong D-man. Jason is 6' 175 lbs. and in my eyes was a below average D-man. Isn't big enough to move the bigger boys from in front. He can rush with the puck when he wants to but makes alot of mistakes. Hope him the best and sometimes a change gets a players career back on track. To me tho to be honest, he is a junior B type player not a junior A. Just my opinion.

Desloges seemed to blossom when he left Everett, Leavitt and Annesley did the same after leaving SC, hopefully this guy will do the same.

Constantine said in an interview yesterday the main reason they got him is because Everett had no lefty shooters on the D-line.
