That looks great ! It did'nt look anything like that when we were there..
It seems like my pictures are to large to put on the boards, so I'll email you a few while I figure a way to get them on here.
Thanks

That looks awesome, congratultions. Swift was approved the other day for rink expansion. It's important for the smaller centers to keep up.

It’s a process, but another step was taken with Civic Centre expansion at City Council.

Swift Current City Council has approved P-1 Architecture to do the construction and design of the expansion plans for the Civic Centre.

City Council already approved the conceptual design last month, said to be in upwards of 10.5 to 12.5 million dollars. Total costs are still unknown.

Officially, the plans will include seating for 800, concessionary and washroom areas up top, new dressing rooms and Olympia Room downstairs, a lobby expansion, six sheet curling rink with lounge and washrooms.

Design costs and blueprint designs have already cost $541,000.

Date of completion is expected to be January 6th, 2007.

Sadly I don't have any (good) pics of the inside. I was able to find this pic on the web though. Not the best pic, but not bad.

The only problem with the Spokane Arena is the price for everything is ridiculus. But I love the place and is definately a great place to watch hockey.

This community is so behind the Raiders it's not even funny. This team is never leaving this city because of the fan support. The community would have rallied behind them if Art hadn't made his donation. The Raiders is all everyone talks about. It's truely great.

Be happy we are not the crime capital like another unmentioned city with a river running through it :D

Bah, our crime rate has been lowered quite a bit in the last couple of years. ;)You're just lucky you have the big hill keeping the West Flatters in their area (too hard to climb when you're licked out of your mind!) and what goes on in the West Flat, stays in the West Flat.

I know I'm a little off topic, but i'm in London On. today and have a few pics of the JLC if anyone is interested in seeing them ? The pics of inside arena are not the best as I had to sneak in to the Knights practice..I guess today was off limits to any guests...Maybe they do'nt want anyone knowing how they can go from first to last in only a few months ..
