The SP reported that Molleken was in Calgary on Thursday night, Lethbridge last night, and will be checking out Regina tonight scouting d-men for a possible trade. He's supposedly been having discussions with those teams and has some possibilities. Is there smoke anywhere that anyone has been hearing about?

It's no secret he's been looking for a top three defensemen, but who do you think will be the likely forward(s) going the other way? Will Rabbit be safe now that he is the captain? I think at this point anything can still happen.

Since they still have en extra two or three defensemen. Hard to say right now who would go the other way but maybe Bader or Waschuk for like Yacboski and a pick although wouldnt hurt trading a young guy for Yacboski and a pick and getting rid of Tidball and going with Bader, Waschuk and Yacboski as the overagers. Carson would be nice but seeing that he's the captain there, likely won't be moved.

Jeff Schultz would be a great addition to our blueline. I agree that Calgary has some good possibilities. We will have to give up some talent to obtain a top player, hopefully it's not something that hurts our roster right now too badly.
