Nothing against any of the current scouting staff, including head scout Peterson, but here's something thats crossed my mind on more than one occasion.
Do you think that ever since the Rebels and Carter Sears departed, that the skill level of the players being drafted by the Rebels has slipped?
I don't suggest that he was a savour or anything like that, but now that we're into playing draft picks that are no longer attributed to his staff, are we seeing the same quality? Looking back over the years alot of the picks made by that scouting staff are or have been top players on their team and in the league and it now seems that other teams in the league are drafting, listing or acquiring better talent.
Any comments?
