The Regina Pats made a statement on Saturday night in Saskatoon posting a 6 - 2 victory over the Saskatoon Blades at Credit Union Centre.

Denis Tolpeko led the Pats offensively with two goals and an assist in just his second game of the season.

Craig Schira & Garrett Festerling each had a goal and two assists in the Pats first road victory of the season.

Kyle Ross scored his first goal of the season on the power-play which proved to be the game-winner, and assisted on a Garrett Festerling marker later in the period for to seal the win for the Pats.

Devin Setoguchi had two goals for the Blades, who dropped to 2-2-0-0 on the season.

David Reekie made thirty-three saves in the victory, while Blades netminder Anton Khudobin made twenty-four saves in defeat.

The Pats return to action on Monday when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers on Monday in a 2:00PM start at Brandt Centre.
