AMS WIN 9-7 over Hawks

I thought that this game was AWESOME. Lots of scoring and dizziness. The night was full of awesome things...Taylor with a SH goal and 1st WHL point, fights, short-handed goals, empty-netter, and Beeman's hat trick. YAHOO!! What do people think about Butterfield? I thought he added a good touch of a pick up on the defense.

Butterfield didnt look to bad. He hasnt shown too much yet but definately is a welcomed addition to our blue line.
as for the rest of the game... It was definately a crowd pleaser!!!! Beemans hat trick was definately the highlight in my book. It cost me a $30 Capitols hat but I guess thats a small price to pay for another 2 points and a step out of the cellar.
Lots of fights, lots of scoring and a big W against the best team in the division...what more could you ask for!!!
Price better get his game back or Pickard will be seeing a lot more time between the pipes!

I didn't believe Carey was that bad last night. I thought the guys were not hustling and protecting/helping him as much. It seemed like when Pickard came out, the boys basically was like WHOA, rookie out, better protect. at least that is what I perceived.

I leave for (1) game and this starts to happen. I have been waiting for a high scoring affair, some energy if you will, for years. And they wait til I leave. What, do they have my schedule?

Nice to see Boogard was back. Hope they come out with a fire tonight.

HFA - With our lack of offense the last couple of years, I could understand your joy to throw the hat over. But $30 for a hat? A Capitols hat? You mean they weren't giving them away? :)
