PATS ACQUIRE SENSEMAN FROM SPOKANE

Regina SK ---- This afternoon the Regina Pats acquired seventeen-year-old forward Michael Senseman from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a sixth round selection in next May’s WHL Bantam Draft. Senseman, a 6’1” 195lb right-winger has been playing with the Langley Hornets of the BCJHL this season. In five games with the Hornets, Senseman has totaled three goals & five assists in five games. The Beaverton, Oregon native will turn eighteen later this month.

“We are thin at the forward position in his age group and this was a chance to acquire a skilled player and add to the overall depth of our team. Michael will be given every opportunity to make our line-up this season,” commented Pats GM Brent Parker.

The Pats also announced that eighteen-year-old forward Kyle Ermel has rejoined the team. Ermel left the Pats at the start of training camp due to personal reasons. Last year in an injury-shortened season with the Pats, Ermel scored one goal and two assists in thirteen games. A decision on Ermel’s roster status is expected to be made in the next few days.

The Pats will play three games in as many nights starting on Friday when they travel to Brandon to face the Wheat Kings. On Saturday the Pats host Prince Albert, before wrapping up the weekend with a clash vs. Calgary in a 6:00PM start at Brandt Centre.
