This is a great pick up for the Blazers. I have had the pleasure of watching him play in Surrey the last couple of years. You will not be dissapointed. Great wheels and a real nose for the net. He will grind it out, and not back down from anybody. He was the unofficial leader of the Surrey Eagles last season and was the real captain. (The old owners' son was the captain last season). He will provide great leadership. Credit Thorpe for this one!

MULOCK TO JOIN BLAZERS

KAMLOOPS, BC * The Kamloops Blazers are pleased to announce 20-year-old forward T.J. Mulock has decided to join the team early next week and is expected to make his Blazer debut on October 21st at home against the Saskatoon Blades.

"We're extremely excited to have a player of T.J.'s calibre choose to join our team," says General Manager Dean Clark. "He's a skilled player with WHL experience, plus he will now add to his university scholarship which he started five years ago. We're looking forward to adding T.J. to our lineup."

Mulock, a 6'1", 180-pound right-winger from Langley, has spent the past two-plus seasons with the Surrey Eagles of the BC Hockey League after starting his junior career with the Vancouver Giants and Regina Pats.

In his time in the WHL, Mulock scored 10 goals and added 19 assists in 111 regular season games. As an 18- and 19-year-old at the Tier 2 level Mulock played in 121 games, recording 56 goals, 118 assists, and 174 points in the regular season and 20 goals and 60 points in 29 career BCHL playoff games. His 39 points in the 2005 BCHL playoffs were a league-high.

Mulock, who left the Eagles today, leaves as the team's leading scorer with 6 goals and 17 points in 13 games.

The addition of Mulock gives the Blazers the full complement of overage players (3) and a roster of 25 (15 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 2 goaltenders.)

The Blazers are back in action Friday night at home against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Game time is 7:00pm
