Calgary - The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is rookie forward Peter Mueller of the Everett Silvertips. Mueller earned player of the week honours by recording two goals and nine points in four games, including a power-play goal and a short-handed goal during the week of October 17th to October 23rd and helped lead the Silvertips to a 3-1 record for the week.

On Tuesday, October 18th, Mueller recorded two assists in a 4-1 victory over the visiting Saskatoon Blades. On Friday, October 21st, Mueller scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-2 loss to the Thunderbirds in Seattle.

On Saturday, October 22nd, Mueller recorded four assists in a 5-1 victory over the visiting Tri-City Americans. On Sunday, October 23rd, Mueller scored a short-handed goal in a 5-4 victory over the Winter Hawks in Portland.

Mueller, a 17-year-old native of Bloomington, Minnesota, is eligible for the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
