View Full Version : Mark Fistric
He is injured and will NOT be playing in the game on Wed. against the Americans. He has a "strained" shoulder. At this point, the official word is...you guessed it, upper body injury. I will try to find out the real story. Expcet Scharff to go back to palying D for the first time this season.

Shhhh...don't let the Ams hear! ;)
Well...it is more than a strain, I can tell you. Read into it what you will, and I am quite sure you will be on the right track.
This morning (Oct. 26) Mark was named to team WHL for the upcoming CHL-Russia challange. He is the only Giant who has been named to the team.

Mikkelson got named too, for the first game anyways
I missed that. I am pretty sure Brendan is in for both games though. :skeptical
The odds of Mark palying this weekend are slim to none. BUT...apparently Paul Albers might play?!?! Good news for Paul, not so good for Fisty.

For those people wondering, Fistric played Saturday, and Albers was back in the lineup Friday.
