I just read that the Raiders dealt Landon Jones to Tri-Cities for Jarrid Dowhay. Dowhay is a PA product that has good speed, works hard and has good offensive abilities.

you got that right sabes we need finish, i think if they put forth an effort every game like the one against stoon we will start to win some games. I personally would be starting deckert alot more than archibald and it doesnt hurt picking up dowhay if we did, not losing much in jones. the ice wolves are playing at home tonight will have to listen to see if they say anything Saturday, Nov. 5

raider site wont be updated till monday and whl site is not updated that quick if you check the tri city forum they have news of this too. it could be untrue but in all likely hood it is.

This trade is true spoke to a player today and there is also a draft pick involved in the deal it is jones for dowhay and a draft pick nto sure which round

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders completed a Western Hockey League trade with the Tri-City Americans today and have acquired Prince Albert Minor Hockey Association product Jarrid Dowhay. The Raiders get 18 year-old right winger Dowhay and a 7th round selection in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft in exchange for 19 year-old defenceman Landon Jones.

Dowhay, 5'11", 180 pounds, played 13 games with the Americans at the conclusion of the 2004-05 WHL season, scoring 1 goal. The Americans assigned Dowhay to the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League this season where he had 2 goals and 5 assists in 6 games.

Jones was in his second year with the Raiders after being acquired Oct.23/04 from the Regina Pats for a conditional 5th round pick in the 2005 Bantam Draft. This season Jones had 1 assist and 34 minutes in penalties in 14 games. Tri-City will be Jones' fourth WHL team, as he started with the Vancouver Giants organization

"Landon will get a chance to play a bigger role with Tri-City. It is also a chance for us to bring home a player in Jarrid Dowhay who we believe can fill a role on this years Raider team."

Dowhay, who came up through the Crescent Heights Stars program of Prince Albert Minor Hockey, played the past two seasons with the Saskatchewan Major Midget Hockey Association Mintos.

so basically we got dowhay and a pick which was used to aquire mike mcdonald, for landon jones . cool good trade for the raiders. dowhay was a good pick up and mcdonald is looking better each game.
