Created: Nov 11, 2005

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – The Prince Albert Raiders, Seattle Thunderbirds and Spokane Chiefs hooked up for a three way trade today, that will see 19 year-old left winger Kyle Howarth end up in a Raider uniform and 18 year-old centre David Linsley end up in a Chiefs uniform.
Through the trades, Seattle receives Prince Albert’s 5th round pick in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft, Spokane receives Linsley and Prince Albert’s 6th round selection in the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft and the Raiders pick up Howarth and a 6th round selection from Spokane in the 2006 Bantam Draft.
Howarth, whose twin brother Brent plays for the Kelowna Rockets, is in this third year in the WHL, starting with the Medicine Hat Tigers. Last season with the Chiefs, Howarth had 15 goals and 10 assists in 61 games.
“We feel that Kyle has the ability to be one of our top nine forwards on the current roster” said General Manager Donn Clarke. “He is a very versatile player that can play either wing.”
