Calgary, Alberta - The Everett Silvertips lose to the Calgary Hitmen by a score of 1-0 in overtime. Both teams are in first place in their respective divisions, Calgary in the Central and Everett in the US. Currently the Silvertips have a 14-6-1 record and 29 points.

The only goal scored during the game was made by Fredrik Pettersson, who earns his 12th of the year, 35 seconds into the overtime period. The lone marker was assisted by Brodie Dupont and Brett Carson.

Matt Esposito made his first career start in goal for the Everett Silvertips. He stopped 15 of 16 shots and now his record sits even at 1-1. Justin Pogge, the Hitmen goaltender, earned his 4th shut out of the season by making all 25 saves on the night. On the power play Everett could not convert on 7 chances while Calgary scored on 1 of 5. The Silvertips out shot the Hitmen 25-16.

The Everett Silvertips end their seven game road trip with a match-up against the Kootenay Ice tomorrow night, Saturday November 12th. The action begins at 6pm.
