Kennewick, WA – The Tri-City Americans today have completed the September 30th trade with the Saskatoon Blades that brought the club 17-year-old left wing Dan Watt.



The Blades selected 16-year-old list defenseman Drew Nichol to complete the trade. Nichol is currently playing for the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL. Nichol has one assist and seven penalty minutes in seven games for the Pontiacs. He had been listed by the Americans last July.



The Americans play in Seattle tonight against the Thunderbirds at Key Arena. Airtime for the Farmers Insurance Warm-Up Show is 6:50 pm on News Talk 870 KFLD.



The Americans return to Toyota Center to open a five-game home stand this Thursday, November 17th at 7:05 pm to face the B.C. Division’s Kamloops Blazers.
