Ams over Seattle 5-2. Riley Emmerson gets his first WHL goal. Stephenson tallies his first of the year and Gracik gets his first carreer hat trick. A natural hat trick to boot!!! Great effort for the boys tonight,

Listened to the 3rd period last night. Turned it on just in time to hear Gracik's 2nd goal. Any win within the division is big, but on the road is huge. Hopefully they will keep the ball rolling with this 5 game homestand that starts tomorrow against 'loops.

Heard on the sports talk show that Stevenson's goal may be going to Gracik. Apperantly he redirected Stevenson's shot. Haven't seen anything yet, but that was from Westie on the radio at noon.

It appears that the bad hockey is starting to transform into not so bad hockey.

That was by far their best showing that I have seen this year. They came out in the first and skated hard, got the bounces, and finally got a late goal. I was disappointed in their play in the third. They started to play the "prevent" mode with chipping the puck out. We had something like 16 shots in the first, but only 5 in the 3rd. Overall, they played well and played hard and got rewarded. It great to see Procychen wearing an "A". Kid's earned it and is playing very well.
