Finally, a win. The Rebels played a pretty sound hockey game tonight. They battled and competed. Personally, I believe that the Hansen and Chapman are stabilizing the defense a little bit. Earlier in the year, Hansen was hurt while Chapman wasn't here yet. With such a young team, its nice to have a couple of 20-year olds back on the blue line. If the defense continues to stabilize, the Rebels will win some games, and perhaps battle for a playoff spot. Your thoughts?

Wick was flying, some REALLY nice moves from Gillies, Vandermeer was crashing & banging, Sutters played a great game and Leslie was good enough to get the must haves, PG scored a neat goal to get ahead and Rebs pulled the goalie and got a break, along with the hard work, and tied it. Nifty moves by Wick and Gillies on the shootout. By the by, is it my imagination, or do the linesmen spend more time cleaning in the visiting end before the shootout ?? The D-men stood real tall. Nice to get the monkey of the back. Hope the Win streak can keep going. Can't wait for the Hurricanes to get blown back South with their tails twixt their legs. :groovy:
