what a very entertaining game last nite. sure great to see 3 of our 6 guys back. we played more of a team game, it was probably the best we've seen all year.tigers are a good team but nobody stood out in my mind. if they didn't spend so much time trying to get our good guys in the penalty box maybe they would have faired better. it was a goaltenders nite and both were awesome. go rockets go

Good to hear! I am sure having those 3 players back in the lineup provided a spark for the team. Hopefully this will be the start of a more consistent team. The rollercoaster thus far, is getting kinda annoying.

There is no rollercoaster ride, just a team that was out worked in Kamloops and had a 2-1/2 hour practice to get the game back on track.

It was great to see Darzins, Card and Dowzak back in the linup. All looked great but Darzins had very little rust being his first action since summer shoulder surgery. He could of had four goals and made one Tiger d-man look bad when he deaked him out twice on one rush.

It has been great for the 16 & 17 year olds to show their stuff, but its nice to get the vets back and see what team we really have in Kelowna. Spurgeon is ready to come back but they are holding him back for another week or two.

What kind of game can we expect from the Tigers tonight in Vancouver?

Tigers are a smallish team, but arguably one of the fastest teams in the league. If they get out to the start they want, expect lots of shots, and our litttle forwards buzzing around the offensive zone. Our defence is solid with Barker and Russell leading the way, and goaltending is solid with Keetley being a top 5 tender (stats wise anyway).
Should be a good one, hope you enjoy the game

The Tigers were bigger than the Rockets, but Kelowna really out hit the Tigers Wednesday night.

Your right about Keetley, him and Yeomans put on a good show here.

First off KBF said that the Blazers are off to a rollercoaster ride again like they have been for the last 6 years, so I am not to sure what you are talking about Jovo, he was not saying the Rockets are.

Secondly and this form the scout package they all get before a game.

Tigers 2 players over 6'3
Rockets 3 players over 6'3
Tigers 9 players 6'0 to 6'2
Rockets 9 players 6'0 to 6'2
This excludes goalies off course

So how do you figure the Tigers were a bigger team?

As for the Tigers, there is no doubt they are a good team but I have to say and I am a Barker fan, he was the most undiciplined player on the ice for the Tigers, got caught a few times deep in the offense zone and could have easily been called for a few penalties for retalation, twice Comeau drilled him with clean hits and he slashed back at him behind the knees as Comeau skated away, both should have been called and there was more, for example a couple of cross checks as play was going the other way that on most nights has been called this year, but that been said he got away with it, he won't at the WJC if he continues to play like that.Hats goalie impressed alot he is big and very agile and atheltic.

Keetley has a very quick glove hand...but sometimes he is caught napping in his crease
