We are looking at heading your way for a game in December and need some advice about lodging and restaurants. If there are hotels/motels that have WHL rates, we would appreciate knowing about them. Thanks.

Tiny, the best advice may just come from Joe or Cam. They would certainly be able to tell you where the teams stays, if in fact they stay there.

The Parke Lodge Inn is just down the road from the inn, and is relativly cheap. Its not as nice as some, but has a great hot tub and pool. Theres also another hotel on that strip, I cannot for the life of me remember what its called. The Prairie Oasis is cheap too, with waterslides. And of course there is always the spa.

Restraunts, well, there is a really good chinese place on main street, its on the east side kiddy corner from the 7-11 i do believe (once again mom and I are blanking on the name, sorry). Moose jaw is always good for the chain restrants, and stay away from the restrant in the spa unless your made of gold.

I would suggest you stay at the Heritage Inn. Likely that will be where the team is staying if they stay here. If you stay at the Days Inn it has a water slide, pool and hottub. The Comfort Inn is another new hotel. I don't think they have a pool or hottub though. It is a very nice place to stay though. Affordable and roomy.
The Spa hands down is the best place to stay. It is close to downtown, the casino is attached sort of. It is only 12 blocks from the hockey rink. Very centrally located and very easy to find your way around.

I would suggest that you go to the Heritage in if it is on a Sunday for their lunch or diner buffet. It is the best in town. Very good and relatively inexpensive.

If you are looking for a good meal and cost doesn't matter. Hopkins Diner is great. They have a nice little gift shop. The restaurant is a renovated old huge house with 2 floors for serving. It is a nice treat.

Wayner and lavernes is an excellent pizza and pasta place.

Nits Tai Food is just flat out great. People from Regina travel to Moose Jaw to try this place out. It is spicy though.

I am sure you will find your visit to be pleasant indeed. Need any more info ask and i will see what I can do.
